Fortnite Battle Royale was released on July 21, 2017. It started out costing roughly 40 dollars, but then it went free on all platforms. So then Youtubers started downloading the game bringing it too life.
Youtubers/ Twitch streamers W Skillz, Ninja, and TSM myth. Fortnite got popular because Epic Games added a new popular mechanic building. It was the first game ever to add building, so it became very popular quickly. By the end of 2017 Fortnite became a very popular game.
By 2018, Fortnite became huge, everyone was playing and was the most popular game in the world at the time.
Alex Sarkisian, Fortnite player, says that he personally thinks Fortnite season 7 was the best season of all time.
By 2020, Covid hit and everyone was in lockdown. Then chapter 2 season 2 came out. Fortnite hit it’s peak again and everyone was playing. That season they put bosses in the game.
When things got back to normal Fortnite has been on a steady decline since then.

Yeah I have to agree it was declining and for a while everybody said it was over but than they add og fortnite and the game was saved it had more players than during COVID I’m pretty sure.

Its been a while, last time I played and the best season was chapter 2 season 2 in 2020
