Attention all soccer players! I will be teaching you how to do some fun and basic soccer moves. Also, Kevin Regus, a seventh-grader at West Middle School and also a great soccer player says that “Using moves and tricks will definitely help you score goals and win games.”

The first move I will be telling you about is called a rollover. You use the bottom of one of your feet and roll over to your other foot.

The next move I will be teaching you about is called a stepover. You take your right foot and move it counterclockwise around the front of the ball. Then use the outside of that same foot and take a touch on the ball.

The next move is a pass to yourself. If you are right footed, you kick the ball hard around the right side of the defender and sprint. With enough momentum and speed,   you will get the ball before the defender does and impress all your fans.

This move is called a fake out. You don’t touch the ball and take one step to the right. Then take the outside of the other foot and kick the ball.

Lastly, the scissor. The scissor is kind of like the stepover, but instead of moving your foot counterclockwise around the ball, you move it clockwise. Then start running really fast.

Hopefully these soccer tips help you score some goals in the future!
