West Boys Basketball

I interviewed Matthew  Falkenberg. He is a 7th-grade basketball player for West. Basketball at West is a cut sport. You have to try out to make the team. Only 7th and 8th graders are allowed to try out. This is Matthew’s first year on the school team.

I asked Matthew if he liked playing basketball and what his plans are for 8th grade, ¨Basketball is really fun and nice to play with my friends.´´ He said Pioneer was the hardest team to play. Pioneer is a West Middle Schoolś rivalry. His favorite NBA team is probably the Detroit pistons. When asked if he will try out for 8th-grade basketball he said ¨yeah definitely¨
