Does the weather affect students learning?

Matthew Falkenberg, Reporter

The temperature and weather are changing especially with the weird weather patterns of Michigan. It will be warm one day and then snowing the next. This rapid change in temperature and weather could be a factor in learning and that is what I want to find out!

I asked Dominic Panetta, a West 7th grader if the temperature and weather change affects his learning. He said, “Yes, because we can learn outside and inside.” He also said that he thinks a friend of his, Joseph Schilling, is affected by the weather.

Last week it was in the 80s and now it’s in the ’40s! Michigan is crazy!

With this changing weather, it can be hard to predict when we can learn outside. Many kids don’t really care too much about the thought of learning outside but some do.
