What Emoji Do You Like The Most?

If you’ve looked in your settings lately, the IOS 16.4 update may have popped up. The update includes some new emojis, which got us thinking…                                                      Out of all of the emoji’s, which one is your favorite? 

To answer this question we’ve asked several WMS students and teachers to tell us what emoji is their favorite, and why. 

Starting with our teachers, Mrs. Nischik stated that her favorite emoji is the “laughing/crying” emoji, but her most used is yikes emoji.                          Mr. Majszak’s favorite emoji is the heart eyes emoji, and he quotes ,“Recently my wife and my sister in law have been sending me pictures from the state tournament and from Florida, of the kids playing on the beach, and so that’s what I respond with.”

Moving on to some of the students at WMS, 8th grader Jenna claims “My favorite is probably the one that’s smiling with the three hearts around it, and I use it in almost every conversation I have, and it’s also just a cute emoji.”

7th grader Oliva agrees with Mrs.Nisehik that the laughing/crying emoji is the best emoji because, “it’s good for when your like laughing really hard, and I feel like it can be used for a lot of things.”

On the other hand, 7th grader Elyse R. agrees with Mr. Majszak, “I like the heart eyes emoji because it’s cute and it makes me happy.”                                            Mia Z. in 7th grade states, “I probably use heart emoji the most, the one that’s pink and has the outlines because it’s a fun emoji, and it’s nice.”                               In addition, 7th grader Asher quotes, “I like the silly face emoji with the different sized eyes, and the tongue sticking out because it just really represents my feelings, and it’s a really good looking emoji.”                                            

After hearing all of the different opinions about which emoji is the best, there’s clearly more than one correct answer, so tell us in the comments below what your favorite emoji is!
