How To Have a Superb Spirit Week!

Annalyse Wallace, Writer

What’s the second worst thing apart from forgetting your homework? Coming to school on spirit week wearing regular clothes.

Thankfully, I’m here today to share some words of wisdom for each spirit day next week (May 1st – May 5th!) to make sure this situation doesn’t happen to you. Let’s get started!

Monday: Neon Day

For this day, wear things like glow sticks, light up sunglasses, and bright colors. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone a little and wear things you wouldn’t usually wear.

Tuesday: Jersey Day

For this, sport a jersey of your favorite team. Don’t’ have a jersey? Borrow one from a parent, grandparent, cousin, or sibling. And, if that doesn’t work, then just wear the colors of your favorite team!

Wednesday: Island Getaway Day

Wear things like Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses, lais, or even a hula skirt! If you don’t have anything to wear, make a quick stop to Party City (which is a good place to get anything for spirit week) and grab some stuff from their Hawaiian section!

Thursday: Plaid Day

This, in my opinion, is the easiest day. This is because all you have to do is throw on a flannel shirt (or borrow one) and you are good to go!

Friday: Green Day

For this, you can wear ANYTHING green you can find. Shirts, sunglasses, pants/shorts, shoes, bandanas, anything that comes to mind! And, if you want to take it a step further, you can even get green washable hair spray, which comes off in the shower; or a wig!

I hope that this article helps you next week in having the BEST spirit week ever! And, if you have any more recommendations on what to wear, comment down below!
