The semester and the quarter are coming to an end. This means new classes, GPA’s, assignments are due and quarter reward party. When the semester ends there are a few things you have to do to be prepared come Monday.
Because the semester is ending, you might have some new classes but some of you won’t. For example, those of you with year long elective classes, your schedule will stay the same but if you have a semester or quarter long elective, you’re going to be getting a new class Monday. If you don’t know what your new classes are, you can ask one of your teachers or you can go to your counselors office and they will tell you. Make sure you know where your new class is so that your not trying to figure out where it is on Monday. If you are unhappy with your new class, you may be able to change it. If you go to your counselor or if you send them an email, you can ask to switch out of the class and into a different one. Although there’s no guarantee that your class will change, you can still try.
Since the quarter’s ending, that means we’re going to have our quarter 2 reward party. At our last reward party, you could put your green cards in bins which have different activities on them and then the teachers would randomly draw some green cards and they would get to participate in one of the activities such as dodgeball or scooter race and more. We don’t know very much about when or what it’ll be but, just know that it’s coming soon.
You know what else is happening? All of your assignments are due. Turn in your assignments by Friday or they will all be marked as zeros. I know that with the semester ending you will start slacking off but NO. make sure you do not fall behind because for your 4 core classes it’s not like they are going to switch the topic. They are going to keep teaching about the same thing as before.
In the end there are some things that you have to know for Monday so make sure you know what you’re doing on Monday and not rushing around to the office trying to find out your new class.
