The Progress Flag doesn’t only mean Pride! It has other meanings. Each color represents something.
The color red on the flag means life. The color orange on the flag means healing. The color yellow on the flag means sunlight. The color green on the flag means nature. The color blue on the flag means harmony. The color purple on the flag means spirit. The color black on the flag means the stigma surrounding the community and people who are no longer living due to AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) and ones living with it currently. The color brown on the flag means POC (People of Color) committees. Then the light blue, pink, and white represent trans-gender individuals.
The progress flag doesn’t only mean that it is for pride LGBTQIA+, it is for many people. People who support or are a part of this.

Thanks for the info! I’m glad to know that the Progress flag is more than just representing LGBTQIA. Good job on the article too!
