Salem High School is Standing at number 5 in their league. Salem has slain every foe the schedule has challenged them with, including the vicious Northville Mustangs in double OT. The Rockin’ Rocks are 6-0.
Salem Has beaten every team they faced by an average of 3 points. The rocks are at the peak of the mountain so far, having one of the best seasons in their 20+ years of playing. The Three Headed Hydra of Jack Squashic, Brady Moore, and Francesco Valencia, have dominated their opponents.
Salem High School did not has not been doing very well in the last couple of years. However, they’ve been on the uptick this season. Max Kehoe, Salem midfielder for the team (and former West student), highlighted this fact, “This season has been by far the best team in about 4 years as we are undefeated.” Max also stated, “Our biggest strengths are probably our team chemistry and working mindset.” Vital parts of any team, no matter the sport.
Max also gave advice to any up and coming players, like, “Wall ball will help you big time.” Max added, “Always listen to your coaches,” and of course, “Be confident and have fun, always remember that it’s just a game and to make the most of your time.”
Being a lacrosse player myself, this is very good advice and I will be following it.
Good Luck, Rocks. Keep on rollin!
