Hey, you’ve made it to 7th grade here are some tips and some fun things about your new teachers and how to be a great student. Being in 7th grade is fun, but it can also be tough. The workload increases a lot from sixth grade. Sixth grade feels like a review year of fifth grade. 7th grade has a lot more homework and the expectations are higher.
1. If you are unsure what to bring to classes on the first day, don’t fear. Make sure you have a folder and a note book. Don’t forget your pencils. It is better to stay organized then to fall behind!
2. find that teacher you can be relatable with. For me, it is Mrs.Horvath. She is friendly and she can still put you to work, and she can make every second count.
3. Don’t afraid to try something new. There are a wide variety of sports in 7th grade, such as basketball, volleyball, swimming, and Track. I did many of these sports and I made so many happy memories with new people I never knew I would be friends with today.
4 . If you’re excited for new 7th grade teachers, make sure your prepared for Mr. Majszak. He is a funny and a cool teacher. Tests can be hard, so know your stuff, and do some studying, even though you think you don’t need it, you got to try for this science guy. Make sure to study the lesson summaries for his tests.
5. As a new 7th grader don’t be rude to incoming 6th graders You were just in 6th grade so put yourself in their shoes, think about how scared or nervous you might have been going into middle school.
6. Mr. Foley is a great story teller. He’ll make you laugh and crack a smile. Truly listen to him, there are lots of tests in 7th grade, it can be tough, so make sure you pay attention and take some notes. Also, making notecards to study really helps you.
7. Have fun and be kind to teachers. You don’t want to be the kid the teacher always has to deal with. Make your teachers laugh so they have a fun time teaching you, and you’ll end up having a fun time learning.
8. If you accelerate Math, ask questions, pay attention, and ask for help if you need it.
Finally, I hope this made you more excited to go into 7th grade It is a great experience meeting new people and teachers so make every second count go Bulldogs.

These are some great tips!! I love how you used teachers as examples and said great things about them so that 6th-graders can get to know the 7th-grade teachers. The writing was fantastic and I loved reading this. I wish this article had come out when I was in 6th grade!
