These amazing tiger species are among the world’s most endangered species with fewer than four hundred Tigers left. They live in Tropical evergreen forests, freshwater swamp forests, and swamps. on Sumatra Island. They can weigh up to 260 pounds. Their population status is low which means they are very endangered.
They can also run up to 40mph! Did you know that they all died from us for commercial gain? They are carnivorous and consist of eating and hunt for large prey such as baby elephants, cattle, and tapir (kind of like a pig). The tiger’s scientific name is Panthera Tigris Sondaica.
The Sunda Island tiger is the rarest species of tiger in the world! Did you know these tigers have webbings in their paws to help them be mighty swimmers? If these tigers go extinct, the population size of animals under them would soar due to the absence of natural controllers. They are endangered because of illegal timber devastation and forest conversions.
This species of tigers are beautiful and I don’t think they deserve to go extinct. One thing that you can do to help is avoid products containing palm oil or wood that have been unsustainably harvested. We can also support conservation organizations dedicated to preserving the Sumatran tiger subspecies. We should stop ruining these majestic creatures’ habitat and let them live on.

Wow. I have never heard of these tigers before until reading this article. It’s crazy how there are also only 400 tigers left. I think it’s cool how you brought awareness to this matter. I also love how you put a link for more information on this cause.
