To say the absolute least, 2024 has been a big year for everything. Sports, Movies, and now music. This summer, we can expect many concerts and music festivals. Which ones are the best, and which will be the biggest?
First off, for those who live under a rock, music festivals are self-explanatory. A festival with music. Usually, with artists who perform for thousands of people there. Sometimes they are a one-time event. Some are yearly. Some are extremely popular and have been hyped up for a while. It depends.
The first festival (and probably the soonest) that I’m covering is The Governers’ Ball, which takes place in New York City at Flushing Meadows Corona Park from June 7-9. On June 7, we will see artists such as Post Malone, Rauw Alejandro, Dominic Fike, Labrinth, and Farruko, with more smaller artists. On June 8, we can expect The Killers, 21 Savage, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tyla. On June 9, artists such as SZA, Peso Pluma, Renee Rap, Don Toliver, School of Rock Brooklyn, and more. I think this will be a big festival with all of these big artists showing up.
The next festival will be the Bonnaroo Arts & Music Festival, a massive four-day festival in Tennessee in Bonnaroo Farm, Manchester from June 13 to June 16, featuring Post Malone, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fred again… and Pretty Lights, with Fisher. Other big artists include Meghan Thee Stallion, Jon Batiste, and T-Pain. These are only a few of the many artists that will perform, and I have high expectations for this one. I think it will be big like it was last time.
Our Third Festival is Festival D’été de Québec, and if you were wondering, I have zero idea how to pronounce it. It takes place in Quebec, Canada, and stretches an entire 11 DAYS, from June 4 to June 14. Featuring Headliners from decades of music, artists such as Post Malone, 50 Cent, Nickelback, Motley Crue, Zac Brown Band, J Balvin, Alan Walker, The Jonas Brothers, Alexandra Streliski, and The Offspring will be making an appearance. I believe that this will be the biggest one, based on how many big artists are coming, and how extremely long it is.
