This year the West Middle School 8th graders will leave for the Washington DC trip on Wednesday, October 16 and they will come home really late Saturday, October 19.
The DC trip is a great trip for 8th graders who can go on it.
The trip goes along with everything that the 8th graders are learning in social studies, so it’s like a live view of everything they’re talking about in class.
Every year the trip is improved to make it better and more enjoyable.
When the 8th graders get back they talk about what went well and what they think should be different.
For the seventh graders, they start signing up in the Spring, so keep your ears open!
