The hallways at West have been very crowded.
In the hallways I see multiple kids running and jumping. I also see kids colliding with each other. I also constantly hear kids screaming and yelling before lunch, recess, and passing time.
Avery, West 7th grader, says, “It’s hard to get to my locker.” Teressa from 6th grade says, “ I don’t like how we get shoved around and hit into lockers and trip all the time.” And Keegan from 6th grade says, ‘’ I personally hate the fact that if you’re walking around you will continuously just get hit by random people.”
Brielle from 6th grade says “ passing time, before lunch, and after lunch” are the most chaotic times in the hallway.
All students agreed that running in the hallways is a major problem and adds to the chaos. Other solutions could be adding more teachers in the hallways during passing time. We could also have different grades and pass time at different times.
What do you think about the crowded hallways?

Hi, i’m Liliana from 6th grade and personally I think 7th and 8th graders should create a path for 6th graders. I am pretty short and I constantly being pushed around. Thanks
