In the month of October there are alot of events at West Middle School such as volleyball tryouts, Band and Choir Concert, and parent teacher conferences.
- Volleyball tryouts
Volleyball tryouts begin on Monday October 21, 2024 from 3:15-5:15. 8th grade tryouts are on Monday the 21st and Tuesday the 22nd. And for 7th graders, they are on Wednesday October 23 and Thursday October 24.
- Parent teacher conferences
Parent teacher conferences are on Thursday October 24 and Tuesday October 29 and go from 4-7pm. Sign ups open on Friday the 18th.
- Band and Choir Concert
The first Choir concert is on Monday October 28, 2024 at 7pm. And the first Band concert is on Wednesday October 30, the day before Halloween, at 7pm.
Reminders
- NJHS
The new NJHS advisors for this year will be Mrs. Bazzi and Mrs. Davies. Students and families will be notified the week of October 21st about their acceptance and meeting information.
- Library Update
The library is getting closer to being open for individual students to come visit. In addition to all the books that were checked out and delivered this week, Mrs. Davies went over some quick tips and shortcuts for using Chromebooks.
