One reason that people are disappointed is the age gap. Paul is 27 years old, and Tyson is 58, which is a 31 year age gap. Jake Paul is hated among the community, and is a youtuber that people just wanted to see get beat up by the “Iron Mike.” This is what 7th graders think about the fight, Andrew said, “I did not really like it, it was rigged, and it looked like Mike Tyson was holding back.” Sennett said, “No, it was rigged.”
Netflix did not expect how many people were going to watch the fight, so the servers crashed and froze when the fight started, making a lot of people angry, and being unable to watch the fight. Sennett says, “It was very bad.” And Andrew adds, “I didn’t like it that much, it was very bad.”
Paul ended up winning the fight after Mike’s prime. Some people think it was scripted because of how boring the fight was. They were hugging each other half of the fight and how many missed opportunities Mike had to get that KO. Andrew thought, “I think it was rigged, Tyson wasn’t throwing any punches and he had a tweet saying something like he was only doing it because he couldn’t pay his bills.” Sennett said, “It was rigged, Tyson didn’t throw any punches.”
Many thought that it was rigged and that Tyson should have won. What do you think?
