88.1 The Park is hosting its annual vinyl sale fundraiser on Saturday, February 15th. The event will take place in the Salem Cafeteria from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and admission is five dollars.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to building a new and improved radio station so 88.1 The Park can continue serving the community. During the sale, vinyl, CDs, T-shirts, and more will be displayed and sold. Entry is available between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m., and early admission costs 10 dollars.
The show is sponsored by Red Ryder Lounge in Plymouth. Along with the sale, special giveaways and prizes will also be available at the fundraiser.
“This is one of our three major fundraisers each year for 88.1 the Park. We hope to raise money to help operate the station and make improvements. We also hope that everyone that attends has a great time and enjoys spending time with people who love music, and love collecting music,” says Bill Keith, Station manager at 88.1 The Park
Students at the Park (Salem, Plymouth, or Canton) can receive a free admission with their student ID. The Salem cafeteria is on the first floor near the high school entrance at 46181 Joy Road. More information about the event can be found at 88.1 The Park’s website, 881thepark.com.
