Another Reason for chickens being great animals is that chickens are easy to take care of. Chickens are easy to take care of because they don’t need too much space (but still some) and chickens are medium size.

If you want to take care of chickens your best bet is to get baby ones, but if your unlucky enough to get a rooster and you don’t live on a farm you have to kill it. For food you either raise to chickens then eat them or just buy either dead chicken or live and do it yourself and wait for them to produce eggs for a while then kill them.
Chickens are also a very popular food for everyone around the world and they can even control bugs if you have a bug problem.
Chickens also poop alot if your raising them so it would be best to clean up after them after about 1 a week and it is very easy to clean up after them.
