The new Lilo and Stitch movie is coming soon! And it’s live action, you can see your beloved characters for real.
The film will be released in theaters on May 23rd.
As someone who liked the first movie, I have high hopes for this movie because the trailers look very good. The trailer has excellent parts, like when he was pretending to destroy a sand city, and Stitch looks very cute and funny in the trailer.
Lilo is played by the actor Maia Kealoha, who is 8 years old and is now starring in a massive movie! Stitch is not a real creature, but the voice behind Stitch is Chris Sanders, who can make such a cool noise with his voice. There are also lots of side characters, such as Lilo’s sister Nani who is played by Sydney Agudong, another 2 side character is Jumba who is played by Zach Galifianakis, and Pleakly, who is played by Billy Magnussen. My favorite characters are Jumba and Pleakly, they are the characters that are trying to capture Stitch.
While asking around, I found that lots of kids are very excited about the movie, even if they did not see the first film. I will most likely go to the movie when it releases, but I might have to wait if I have soccer or if I can’t get a ride. Overall, I’m super excited!
