Rainbow Six Siege is one of my favorite games, you should try it!
First, the game is played with an attacker and defender. The defender will protect the bomb or kill all the attackers. The attacker’s job is to defuse the bomb or kill all the defenders. Or if the time runs out then the defender wins the round. There are 7 rounds in a match and the first team to 4 wins.
But if you don’t want to play bomb, there are 2 more game modes: Hostage and Secure area. First, hostage is like bomb, but there is a hostage in the middle of the site so the attacker has to get the hostage out of the building. Or the defender can kill all the attacks or the attacker can kill all the defenders.
But if you don’t want either of those, you can play Secure Area. Secure Area is an area in a map where the defender has to keep an area, and attackers have to take the area or kill all the defenders. The defenders can kill all the attackers or let the time run out to win .
The Attacker Roles:
- Entry Fragger:
These operators focus on clearing out the enemy team with their weapons and pushing into the objective. - Support:
These operators provide utility, such as breaching walls or using drones for intel. - Flex:
This role allows players to adapt to the team’s needs and switch between roles as required.
Now the Defender Roles:
- Anchor: These operators focus on defending a specific area, often near the objective.
- Roamer: These operators roam the map to control flanks and disrupt the attackers.
Other Important Roles:
- Intel: Gathering information about the enemy team and their location.
- Hard Breacher: Operators who can destroy reinforced walls.
- Soft Breacher: Operators who can destroy soft surfaces like floors or walls.
In Rainbow Six Siege, there are 75 operators: 38 on attack and 37 on defense. All operators follow in a role. Some of the Operators say they are a role but they really aren’t.
How to make an account:
First, if you are on pc, you will have to download Ubisoft Connect and make an account with your info. Xbox is pretty much the same as pc. For PS5, you have to go on something else like a phone and make an account and link your PS5.
