Chloe Kim Wins Gold
February 20, 2018
Twist. Land. Shred. Chloe Kim, 17-year-old smashes the competition and brings home gold for team USA in the Women’s Halfpipe in the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics
First Women to land back-to-back 1080’s on the half-pipe and came home with the gold on her first try with an overall score of 98.25.
Chloe Kim is a 17-year-old Californian, whose family sacrificed a lot for her to get to her stardom. She has won 3 X Game gold medals in Women Half-Pipe and sadly had to miss out on the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics due to minimum age requirements.
Chloe has worked so hard to get to where she is now and landing was her main focus in the 2018 Olympics. She is the first Korean-American and won gold in her parents home country, and did we mention she speaks three languages? Korean, French, and English.
Chloe says that she is so grateful for where she is and what her family and fans have done for her. She can now call herself a Gold Olympic champion!

good to know the USA team isn’t getting utterly destroyed, that’s cool. will there be an article about how the other places in the world are doing in the Olympics? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ cause why not?
