A lot of homework compared to no homework.

Do you have too much homework? Do you stress out doing your homework? Do you stay up late doing homework?

First, I ask Luke Neme, the 7th grader at West Middle School if he didn’t have homework, what would he be doing, Luke Neme replied, ‘’I would be playing Fortnite or he would go play soccer.” I asked if homework stressed him out and Luke Neme responded: “It can’t stress me out sometimes.” I ask Luke Neme if homework makes him miss events and he answered: “It depends when I have a lot of homework and it is due the next day he could miss his events.”

My thoughts on having homework are that we have too much. My opinion is that we have too much and it is taking away our time to go play outside. Also, I can get very stressed out doing tons of homework. For instance, teachers just give us homework sometimes not explaining what to do and it gets me stressed out because they say you have to do your homework but you don’t know what to do! Then, they give us homework when there is like one minute left in the school period. If they are giving us homework, then let us have like ten to fifteen minutes in class to do our homework so we can get help on some of the questions because sometimes parents don’t know how to do the assignment.

These are some reasons why I believe homework should either be completely abolished or cut down to a more manageable amount.
