Everyone loves popcorn and movies, but not everyone likes the new movie Jumanji 2. With high profile actors Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, we personally thought the movie was amazing. The movie had laugh out loud moment and was extremely entertaining. The sequel to Jumanji was released on December 13th, 2019. Here are some students at West’s opinion on the new hit. Before you run to the theater, this movie is rated PG 13.

First, we interviewed Emily Fagerman (7th grader at West) who thought the movie was intense. She rated it a 4 ½ out of 5 stars. In Emily’s opinion, Kevin Hart had the best acting skills as Milo, who was a grandfather and one of the main characters.

Next, we interviewed Caedmon Whipple (7th grader at West) who liked the movie a little less than Emily. He rated it a 4 out of 5 stars and thought the movie was very funny. He didn’t like the second movie as much as the first, which he rated 5 out of 5 stars. Kevin Hart and Dwyane Johnson had the best acting skills in his opinion, but he also stated, “They always have the best acting skills.” Caedmon’s favorite scenes in the movie were the fighting scene in the castle, and when Milo turned into a horse.

Lastly, we interviewed Daphne Fisher (another 7th grader at West) who really liked the movie. She also rated it a 4 ½ out of 5 stars. She didn’t have a favorite scene, because she thought the whole movie was really good. Daphne didn’t have a favorite actor either but she thought they all did a really good job. Daphne says she would recommend the movie because “It’s really funny and it can keep you entertained for a while.”

It looks like the students we interviewed really liked the movie. Ask your parents to go see it, you might like it too.
