In the 2021-2022 school year, students are constantly getting reminded to wear their masks properly. In the 2020-2021 school year, COVID-19 quarantines were a huge deal. Mrs. Kulczycki has spoken to many students about this issue in the past couple of years.

Teachers and staff are enforcing masks to be worn by students. Masks are keeping most kids safe because COVID-19 is entirely airborne, so blocking airways is the trick. “Students should be wearing their masks fitted well, over their nose, and all the way to the bottom of their chin,” says Mrs. Kulczyzki.

Lots of people at West Middle School are hoping that we can be done with masks soon. Mrs. Kulczycki and other people say that we might be done with masks when we get down to a moderate or low amount of COVID-19 cases. In order to get the cases down, students need to wear their masks properly.
