The March Madness 2022 tournament is underway on March 13th with 68 teams competing, starting in Dayton, Ohio. 

Many people are anxiously awaiting the start of the 2022 March Madness start this year the tournament starts in March and goes until April 4th. There are always 68 teams that compete in this tournament yearly until there are only 4 teams left. The tournament is single-game elimination which means many teams will be going home after the first round.

In 2021, Baylor faced off against Houston in the NCAA Final Four while at the same time UCLA played Gonzaga. Baylor ended up coming out on top over Houston with a surprising score of 78 to 59. While Gonzaga beat UCLA in a very tight game 93-90. Baylor came out on top with a score of 86-70. 

West 7th grade student Paxton Prosser wants Michigan to win March Madness this year. “After a sad loss last year to UCLA, it would be good revenge for the team and the school,’” Prosser said.
