The winter season is arriving, Winter sports are starting. With that comes a Ski Club. Ski Club runs through 6 weeks of winter. You can sign up on December 20th at Salem High School starting at 6:00 pm. Along with signing up, you get an ID for the Ski Club bus. The official first week of Ski Club is the 13th of January at Canton Middle School.

Ski Club travels to Mount Brighton in Brighton, MI.  Members have to get on the bus and you’re taken there and back on the same bus. “Each trip is about $20-50,” says former ski club member Harry Jackson. 

To get into a ski club you’ll need a few things. The first thing being Skis or a snowboard. With the Skis or snowboard, you need a bag to go along with it so it doesn’t scratch other people’s skis. We also recommend you bring some money to get food and drinks while at Mt. Brighton. 

Ski clubs are great for socializing with friends, getting out of the house, and just skiing. There aren’t many things like it, it’s very unique, cost-effective, and just fun.
