Dante Moore is one of the most coveted recruits in the current class of 2023 and he just re-committed to UCLA. Moore is currently the number 4 player in the class of 2023 and was committed to Oregon. He was a generational talent and was compared to Patrick Mahomes and Tua Tagovailoa. All of the sudden recommitted even though he signed a 700,000 nil deal with Oregon.

After blowing up the Adidas All American Bowl being announced the MVP he re commited to UCLA. UCLA just finished a top 15 football school. This is a school with a bright future with young core pieces. 

We have a few theories of why this happened. We think that this might have happened because of the change in culture in Oregon. Oregon’s previous offensive coordinator was a magician and he moved on from the Oregon program. Oregon’s offense will probably not be on the same level of production.

Next, Bo Nix made the unexpected decision to take his final year of eligibility even though he’s a senior. He was one of the most electric quarterbacks in the country and there is no chance Moore starts over Nix.

Finally, UCLA has a good future. After moving away from the Pac 12 and into the Big 10 they will have more respect as a program against better competition. This will rocket his draft stock if he performs as expected.
