Mahomes entered the Super Bowl MVP conversation by going 20-of-26 for 182 yards and three touchdowns. Mahomes and the Chiefs won versus the Eagles last Sunday February 12th, 2022.  

West seventh grader, Sam, when being asked if Patrick Mahomes deserves to have won Super Bowl MVP says, “ Yes, he had a really strong game and came back from an ankle injury at halftime to lead the Chiefs to victory. “

Going into halftime there was a question if Mahomes would play the second half due to an ankle injury. After halftime Mahomes was back out on the field and playing better than before.

Mahomes and the Chiefs were down ten. His beautiful passing helped the Chiefs score twenty one in route to the victory over the Eagles.
