HALLOWEEN DECORATION

Arden Mayer, Reporter

The school rule states that no Halloween costumes are allowed during the school day.  However, wearing your costume is fun and a great way to celebrate the holiday!

Mrs. Hammoud says,“Students have the opportunity to wear their costumes to school at the Halloween dance.” She also stated that if students wear their costumes to school it might be a distraction. But not all costumes are a distraction.

I asked some students to see their input on the topic. Howaida Saad, a 7th grader at West Middle School, says, “ I want to wear my costume to school because it’s fun and goofy.” Suprita Nagali, a 7th grader at West Middle School, says she says she wants to wear her Halloween costume to school because that’s one less outfit that she has to pick out for the week. Kyle Pierson says, “No, because I don’t think it is necessary.” Josh Asaro says, “ Yes, because I want to wear my costume multiple times.

We should be able to wear our costumes to school on Halloween. I mean, wouldn’t you like to wear something fun on Halloween to school?
