This past Monday night, the Detroit Lions beat the Minnesota Vikings 31-9. Although they were off to a slow start in the first half, they got their offense moving in the second half and scored three more touchdowns.
The player of the night was Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs with 139 rushing yards, and 4 touchdowns. The Minnesota Vikings on the other hand had an insanely poor performance going 0-4 in the red and having a field goal going wide right.
This means that they now get a bye week to rest their players ready for the playoffs. They also get a home-field advantage.
Even with all the injuries, the Lions have done insanely well and have all exceeded expectations. There is no telling what they could accomplish now. Go lions!!
