When you think of DC, you probably think of Washington D.C., but some people think of Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Michigan. Divine Child is a private Catholic school for students in grades K-12.
Divine Child High School football recently played in the state finals at Ford Field on Friday, November 28th, at 12:30. It was Unity Christian (Hudsonville) against Divine Child (Dearborn), and Divine Child pulled out the win, 23 to 22. D.C. hasn’t been to the state championship game in 40 years.
A cool fact about both teams is that superstars from the Lions, Isaac Teslaa and Aiden Hutchinson, both attended those schools in high school. Aiden Hutchinson went to Divine Child, and Isaac Teslaa went to Unity Christian.
These schools have amazing education, and their sports make them even better! Congrats, Falcons, on your State Championship!
