2018 Crossover is Friday, Nov. 16th!
October 29, 2018
The Crossover is on Friday, November 16th. At the Crossover, the West Middle School staff will play the Liberty Middle School staff in a basketball game at Liberty Middle School to raise money for charity. The doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and the tip-off is at 6:30 p.m. Students must be picked up by 7:45 p.m.
To attend the Crossover, it costs $5.00. However, if you bought the 2018 Crossover shirt, you get in free!
Mr. Szalka, a math teacher, informed us that the Crossover was created to provide community service for the students, staff, family, and community members of L.M.S. and W.M.S. The money raised goes to the Canton and Plymouth Goodfellows.
Mrs. Horvath, an ELA teacher, said that she has done the Crossover for two years and it was “a lot of fun”. Mrs. Horvath stated that the Crossover raises lots of school spirit.
Caitlin Noe, a seventh grader, attended the Crossover last year. She told us that she liked the Crossover because it was fun and interesting to see her teachers playing basketball. She informed us that at the Crossover students can buy candy and participate in raffles. Bring cash!
West teachers that are playing in the Crossover are Mrs. Horvath, Mr. Szalka, Mr. Jonathon, Mr. Durocher, Mrs. A’hearn, Mrs. Modrzynski, Mrs. Lang, Mr. Wooster, Mr. Wells, Mrs. Parris, Mrs. Hedge, Mrs. Howe, Mrs. Hayes, Ms. Williams, Mr. Foley, and Mr. George.
Don’t miss out on all the fun!

A waste of money, sure. The money that goes to people who don’t have money is totally worthless. Also, nonsensical emoticons are way more important than raising funds for charity, yes sir.

Awesome! That sounds so cool, and I love how the teachers get to play in this! I’m not going, so I hope someone writes an article on the events of the Crossover!
