The 2019 Sj5K  takes place on May 5th at the Varsity PCEP football field (by Canton High School). The SJ5K is a mile or 5k race that helps fundraise for local families in the need. This year the SJ5K is supporting five local families of the following people: Maria Savage, Lily, and Sienna Lombardi, Karen Little, Kim Adams, and Kim Little.

The day of the event is a very fun day. “When they start you can either run the 5k or the mile and after that people usually stay and hang out and after they go home.” Commented 8th grader/part of the SJ5K community, Ella Binder. The day is an overall good time for everyone who comes.

Before you attend the event you have to register. “Go to SJ5k.org and register under the West Bulldogs.” It is 20 dollars for a student and 25 dollars for an adult according to SJ5K.org. If you register before a free t-shirt included. Hope to see you there! The middle school that receives the most SJ5K participants will receive a prize and maybe even a free primetime day!
