New Chick-fil-A Opening in Northville

The blue prints for the Chick-fil-A opening in Northville

According to the Township Planner, Jennifer Frey, a new Chick-fil-A is opening on Haggerty Road in Northville this Spring. This is very exciting because there are many Chick-fil-A lovers and only 13 restaurants open in Michigan right now. If you’ve never been, then soon you will have the opportunity to see what the fuss is about!

Before Northville Township approved the restaurant, it has to go through many tests. According to Frey, “It goes through an extensive review process by the planner, engineer & fire department to ensure all township requirements are met.” Thankfully, these tests were passed, so now many people can enjoy it. The traffic on Haggerty Road was a factor in the planning.

But let’s say you’ve never been to a Chick-fil-A because you’re a vegetarian. They don’t only have chicken, they have salads too. Frey is a vegetarian and has been to a Chick-fil-A and can confirm that the salads there are worth eating or at least trying, “I am a vegetarian so I’ve never had any chicken, but I do really like one of their salads.” And if you’re not, then Kayla Ngyuen, West seventh-grader, recommends their waffle fries and chicken nuggets, “A lot of people will go to Chick-fil-A because there’s only about 10 in Michigan and only about 4 or 5 near Plymouth.”

Frey adds, “Everyone seems pretty excited about a Chick-fil-A opening near here. Chick-fil-A has a large geographic draw so it might bring people to the area who will then shop or visit other nearby stores or attractions.”
