The Mid-Winter break takes place from Feb. 18 to Feb. 21.

“Students need a break for their mental health,” Sebastian Miller, West 7th grader said. An average school year lasts about 180 days, so breaks are important for students’ mental health.
PCCS use to have a week-long Mid-Winter Break, but now only have a four-day weekend. This is due to the state’s needed number of school days. “I wish it was longer but we get days off so that’s cool,” said Sean Kastner, West 7th grader.

Students at West need breaks to recuperate and recharge so breaks are very important.

Make sure to have a good break, everyone!
