The fifth most popular Stranger Things character is Jim Hopper, the Chief of Police at Hawkins. He later adopts Eleven in season 2. In the final episode, he proposes to Joyce, and they get married. This character is popular because he is kind and strong, and also helped look for Will in season 1.
The fourth most popular character in Stranger Things is Max Mayfield. She is a girl who lived in San Diego, California, and later moved to Hawkins. She has a brother named Billy, who died in season 3. Lucas, Will, Mike, and Dustin find out that Dustin’s high score on a video game at the Arcade. The name that has the new high score is Mad Max. Later, they find out that Max goes to their school and has a science class with them. This character is popular because she is funny, and people are happy to see her back in season 5.
The third most popular Stranger Things character is Eleven, who is a girl who has powers and uses them to defeat Vecna. She also loves Eggo waffles and cannot stop eating them. Eleven and Mike start to like each other, so they go to the snowball dance together. Sadly, later on, Eleven dies in season 5. This character is popular because she has powers and helps to kill Vecna. 
The second most popular Stranger Things character is Dustin Henderson, who is a boy who makes friends with Mike, Will, and Lucas. He goes to Hawkins Middle School with his friends. This character is popular because of how funny he is and how he and Steve are good friends. 
The most popular Stranger Things character is Steve Harrington. He goes to Hawkins High School and is very popular. He likes Mike’s sister, Nancy. Later on, Dustin and Steve are great friends, and he would pick up Dustin, later on when he is in High School. This character is popular because he was once a bully but turned into a good guy by helping to fight off Demogorgons.
