Mr. Jonathan is West Middle School’s new Plant Engineer. He enjoys working with kids and has had experience with other schools in the past.

Mr. Jonathan has worked many jobs in his life. He was the District Manager at GRBS (the company that cleans the schools) and he has experience in construction. Mr. J likes West, and in his words, “Good school, the staff, and students are good. Compared to other middle schools, West is the happiest school to be at.”

Mr. J is 33 years old and has two kids named Jayden and Jakyla. In his free time, he likes to play sports and video games. His favorite video game is Fortnite.

He grew up in Detroit, Michigan. You may have heard people call him Dr. J, but that is just a nickname from his old school that an 8th grader called him, which only stuck for a few weeks.

Mr. J got an associate’s degree from Washtenaw Community College. He is also thinking about getting a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University.

Although Mr. J hasn’t worked here for a long time, we are all excited to get to know him better!
