West students are definitely looking forward to the 2018 Winter Break! Keep reading to find out local events you can attend! 

One fun thing to do over break is to go ice skating. A place that you could go ice skating is the Plymouth Cultural Center which is located at 525 Farmer Street, Plymouth. To ice skate, there is a $4.00 entry fee. Another place to ice skate is Campus Martius, which is located at 800 Woodward Ave, Detroit. The cost is about $8.00.

Another idea is to go to the Penn Theater which is in Downtown Plymouth. The Penn Theater is an old fashion movie theater that is just $3.00 a ticket. 

Something else you can do is sled at McClumpha Park in Plymouth, weather permitting. 

Lastly, you can also have some fun inside with your friends. Participate in a Secret Santa exchange, make gingerbread houses, bake cookies, make a fort, and watch Christmas movie.  Don’t forget that Downtown Plymouth is a great place to shop for family and friends.
