“My favorite art is probably the oil pastel landscape. “I liked the sharing of ideas and seeing what other teachers are doing,” said West art teacher, Mrs. Hedrick.
Saturday, May 7, 2022, PCCS had their annual Art Show at Salem High School. It included over 2,000 pieces fo student artwork.
“I liked how there were so many different pieces of art hung up on the wall,” said West 7th grader, Paige Cooper. Another West 7th grader, Ellia William, gave her opinion, “I liked the diversity like the pictures and drawings.”
West students’ art work was selected. All entries received a Certificate of Recognition. The art show had local and celebrity judges and district art teachers to select pieces that were desrving of special recognition.
